Old City summer camps from May 3

Charminar: With vacations on, to promote sports, cultural activities and training in art and dance various summer camps are held across the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. 

South zone commissioner Srinivas Reddy held a review meeting with officials concerned on holding summer camps in Old City. It was decided that the summer camps in Old City would begin after an inaugural function that would be held at Quli Qutub Shah Stadium on May 3 from 4 pm onwards. Major arrangements for the organisation of camps have been completed. 

Srinivas Reddy has asked the officials to make sure that sports kits were distributed to the summer sports camp participants. He further said that online distribution of sports kits was carried out so far as per the instructions of higher authorities. He asked the officials to maintain utmost transparency in distribution of the sports kits. The sports material was delivered to the selected coaches via online application system. He said that the distribution of sports material was free from any political influence this time. The review meeting was attended by deputy commissioners of circle 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 and other officials.
