Wards should be hygienic with waste management and toilet constructions: Municipal Commissioner

Siddipet:  Siddipet Municipal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy during his field visit to the Ward No. 20 on Thursay expressed his anger over the sanitation and waste management in the ward by the locals who are resorting to throw the wastage into the drainage causing unhygienic atmosphere in the area. 

The commissioner, who found the absence of toilets at a few houses in Murshadgadda area in the ward, directed the locals to construct the lavatories immediately and to maintain the wet and dry wastage separately. He also warned the residents, who are dumping the waste into the drainage leading to blockage and diseases, will be served notices if the same is repeated in the colony. 

The Commissioner also enquired about the irrelevant occupancy of the Municipal quarters and illegal construction adjacent to the quarters. During the field visit of the commissioner, who also enquired about the facilities for the students and their education at Balasadan in the ward, Coucillor Javed and other staff were present.
