GADA chief addresses public issues during visit to villages
Jagadevpur: In order to make Gajwel Constituency, which is represented by the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, a model constituency in the state, Gajwel Area Development Authority (GADA) Offcier on Special Duty M Hanumantha Rao started ‘padayatra’ in villages to address the public issues by wending his way along the every street on foot.
On Thursday, GADA visited Chinna Kistapur village in Jagadevpur mandal and toured almost every street for two and a half hours inspecting implementation of Mission Bhageeratha scheme, CC roads, electricity, drainage, sanitation and Shadi Mubharak, Kalyana Laxmi schemes in the village.
After speaking to the locals, the Officer directed them to construct rain water harvesting pits at their houses. Including the inspection of veterinary camp for geo-tagging to the cattle and health camp in the village, GADA ordered Panchayat Raj AE to build toilets at Anganwadi centre, water sump at Mandal Parishad school and resolved few other issues on the spot. District Medical officers, R&B officials, Jagadevpur Tahsildar, sarpanch Raja Goud, VRO and others participated in the
program.
