Motorist slapped with 2-day jail, fine for drunk & driving

Gajwel: During a drunk and drive test conducted by Gajwel CI Narasimha Rao, lorrydriver Erra Ramesh (30), a resident of Alirajpet of JAgadevpur mandal , was caught in Driving Under Influence(DUI) test when breathalysed on Wednesday and was slapped with 2 day jail with a fine of Rs. 2000 by the Additional Magistrate Sucharitha on Thursday after the hearing the case. The police warned the motorists that drunk and driving was punishable offence.
