Rush for ice apples

Safilguda: People’s summer delight toddy palm fruits, known as ‘thati munjalu’ and called ice apple in English, began making their cool appearance in the city. Vendors of this delicious fruit say they import the fruit from Nalgonda district. A dozen of these fruits are sold at Rs 80, they said adding that their business is good as usual.
