Signature campaign on ‘Swachh Hyderabad’

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) initiated an innovative campaign to make citizen realise their responsibility towards Swachh Hyderabad and Swachh Bharat Mission. 

A  Signature Campaign on “ What I will Practice as a Swachh Citizen”  was held in public areas such as Shopping Malls, Bus Stations, Metro Stations, colleges and cinema halls throughout GHMC limits. People were asked to provide consent for at least one practice which would contribute to the swacchata of the city such as Wet & Dry Waste Segregation, Practice Home Composting, Carry cloth bags to super markets, Carry tiffin boxes to meat shops, avoiding littering on roads, Avoiding Open Urination etc.  The initiative has observed a huge positive response from the citizens. The citizens have happily expressed their willingness to contribute their part towards attaining Swachh Hyderabad .
