‘ECET must be held fail proof’

Update: 2018-05-01 08:08 IST

Hyderabad: The Telangana Polytechnic Students’ Joint Action Committee (JAC) on Monday demanded that the ECET examination to be conducted on May 9 should be foolproof with all facilities. Chairman of JAC Yeravelli Jagan raised the demand in a representation submitted to Telangana ECET Convener Dr Govardhan in JNTU.

He recalled that students had faced hardship during the exam conducted last year, with even drinking water lacking and the online/offline exams at different venues. This, he pointed out, caused confusion among the candidates. Jagan stressed that such problems should not recur. Dr Govardhan responded positively to the representation. Among the student leaders present were Dharavath Narender Naik, Balgeri Sandeep, Kasala Uday and Sai Umesh.
