Rains accompanied by hailstones lash Kulkacharla, Doma

Parigi:  Rain accompanied by hail stones is experienced in Kulkacharla and Doma mandals of the district, while strong gales swept across Parigi on Thursday.  The rain and hailstones caused damage to the standing paddy crop. Mango crop was also damaged on account of the hail stones. 

In Rapol village of Parigi mandal, gales caused a huge mango tree uprooted. The uprooted tree fell on the road to Shamshabad airport disrupting movement of vehicular traffic since two pm.  Public travelling to the airport were affected on account of the incident.
