Hunger strike launched on SC/ST Act

LB Nagar: Former MLA M Narsimha demanded Suprme Court to recall its decision on SC/ST (Prevention of atrocities) Act. The former MLA inaugurated 48-hour hunger strike organised by SC, ST PARIRAKSHANA COMMITTEE at Ambedkar statue at Hayath Nagar on Thursday. He garlanded participants of the hunger strike.

Addressing the gathering, Narsimha  alleged that Modi Government at Centre is  planning a conspiracy to amend the Constitution. Against growing attacks on Dalits, Tribals and Minorities there is no security to Dalits in the country, he lamented. Narsimha called to defeat BJP in the coming elections. Paranda Swami, Erra Ravinder, A Mahesh, Sukka Ravi Kumar, U Raju, Sakthi, Erra Giri, Balakrishna, K Naveen took part in the hunger strike. J Vishnuvardhan, K Skylab, G Nagesh, B Prabhakar, Govardhan, Sukka Venkatesh, M Papaiah were present.
