TRS activists garland Gandhi statue during protest

Chandanagar:  Corporator Bobba Navatha Reddy on Thursday hit out at TPCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy for his comments against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Participating in a protest programme at Gandhi statue here, organised by the ruling party, she accused the Congress party and Uttam himself of encouraging family rule. Reddy flayed Uttam’s remarks against KCR’s official residence Pragati Bhavan.

During the protest, TRS activists garlanded Gandhi statue, performed ‘palabishekam’ to KCR’s portrait and raised slogans against the TPCC chief. Among the participants were senior party leaders Vijay Reddy, Srikanth, Mallikarjun, Krishna Reddy, Pochayya, Asha, Nageshwar Rao, Rajanna, Venkat Reddy, Lakshman, Harish Reddy, Krishnamurthy, Sudhakar.
