Minister inaugurates ‘GHMC summer camps’

Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) - Annual Summer Coaching Camps 2018 – North Zone was inaugurated by T Srinivas Yadav, Minister for Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, Dairy Development Corporation and Cinematography, government of Telangana at a colourful function held at GHMC Marredpally playground, here on Friday.

Over 2000 children from GHMC North Zone participated in a colourful March Past. Among them, Narayana Vidya Bhavan stood first in Karate competition, Golnaka Playground, Alwal, secured second position in Volleyball and Frobles Grande High School, Malkajgiri, won third prize in Kho Kho.

Addressing the gathering, J Shankaraiah, Zonal Commissioner (North Zone), GHMC gave a brief report about the conduct of coaching camps for the benefits of children and stated that to encourage all the youths to participate in the sports activities and all them should utilise the online registration system. Speaking at inaugural function, Talasani Srinivas Yadav said in this Summer Camp maximum number of children to participate in Games/Sports to utilise the facilities being provided by the GHMC and declared open the Summer Coaching Camp-2018.

G Sayanna, MLA, Cantonment Assembly Constituency, Akula Rupa, Corporator, Monda Market Division, C Narasimha Mudiraj, Co-Optional Member, GHMC along with K Ravi Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Circle No 18A, NZ, GHMC, A Shailaja, Deputy Commissioner, Circle No18B, NZ, GHMC graced the occasion.
