Tahsildars asked to abide by registration law

Vikarabad:  District Collector Sayyad Omar Jaleel has called upon tahsildars to efficiently discharge the additional responsibilities of registration entrusted to them by the state government. 

He was addressing tahsildars and registration department staff at the training session held at Collectorate here on Saturday. He exhorted the officials to read the manuals prepared on registration laws comprehensively and understand the nitty-gritty of the registration process and discharge the duty giving no room for errors. 

He asked them to allot some time and sensitise themselves various legal aspects. There are several registration processes, he wanted the deputy registrars also to prepare themselves to discharge such duties. 

He released the training manual on various registration laws titled Margadarsi on the occasion.  He asked the officials to make good use of the training being given to them on the registration through nodal officer DV Prasad, who is the district registrar, and successfully discharge the new responsibilities. 

District Joint Collector Aruna Kumari and RDOs of Vikarabad and Tandur Viswanadham and Venu Madhava Rao and tahsildars of various mandals took part in the programme.
