All set for Rythu Bandhu scheme: Collector

Vikarabad: The district Collector Syed Umar Jaleel said that all arrangements have been made for the distribution of new pattadar passbooks along with cheques under Rythubandhu scheme. 

He reviewed a meeting with district officers, tahsildars, agriculture officers, bankers and farmer coordination committee members, here on Tuesday. The programme will be organised from Thursday, the collector said. He directed the authorities to arrange tents, drinking water and medical assistance for the 

The collector told the officials to publicise about the programme in villages. As many as 99 teams are formed in 56 distribution centres in the district, he said.

Speaking on the occasion, Parigi MLA Rammohan Reddy said cheques under Rythu Bandhu will be given in second phase if there are any legal issues. He urged authorities to make sure that there is enough cash in Banks.

Vikarabad MLA Sanjeeva Rao asked the officials to make the programme a grand success. " Providing early investment of Rs 4000 per acre is a prestigious programme of the state government. The whole country is looking at us. Make it success us and bring good name for the district, “he said.

Chevella MLA Kale Yadaiah, farmers coordination committee chairman Maheswar Reddy, SP Annapurna, Joint Collector Aruna Kumari, Agriculture Officer Gopal, LDM Sumalatha, RDOs of Vikarabad and Tandur Viswanatham, Venumadhava Rao along with tahsildars, agriculture officer, farmer coordinationcommitteemembers were present.
