All set for CM meeting at Medak
Medak: All arrangements have been placed for the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s meeting on Wednesday at Medak after the foundation stone laying for the buildings of Integrated Office Complex for Collectorate and Commissioner of Police at the town.
Minister Harish Rao along with Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy, Jaheerabad MP BB Patil, Medak Collector Dharma Reddy, Joint Collector Nagesh, SP Chandana Deepti, Siddipet CP Joel Davis, DSP, CIs and with TRS party cadre oversaw the arrangements for the CM’s programme.
Chief Minister KCR will lay the foundation stone for the Collectorate office and CP office at Auranagabad area on the outskirts of the town and then address at a huge public meeting arranged at church grounds in the town.
Rs 100 crore worth proposals Medak Municipality chairman Mallikharjun Goud, who held a meeting on the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s meeting on Tuesday, said Rs 2 lakh money was spent for the electric illumination for the meeting.
He said Rs 100 crore of proposals for the Municipality development had been made to present to the Chief Minister on Wednesday. The proposals include development of Outer Ring Road around the town, Kendriya vidyalayam, PG College, Auditorium and Rs 40 crore for drainages and roads and Rs. 5 crore for the construction of new Municipality building at Medak, said the Chairman.
Traffic signals, women police station and traffic police station are also in the list of proposals, said the Municipal Chairman who called for the huge turnout for the CM’s meeting. 87 acres of land for
Collectorate and CP offices
The officials have readied 87 acres of land in Survey number 78 at Aurangabad village outskirts at Housing Board Colony neat the town where the chief minister will lay the foundation stone for the construction of new buildings of collectorate and Commissioiner of police on.
An helipad has also been prepared for the chopper of the CM who will reach the venue by air. Then, CM will reportedly attend a review meeting with the officials and will head to the public meeting at CSI Grounds in the evening.
