CITU stages novel protest over petrol, diesel prices

Pedda Amberpet: Demanding a reduction in petrol and diesel prices, CITU leaders staged a novel protest by moving an auto rikshaw with a rope here on Tuesday.
CITU district leader G Narsimha along with Public Associations convener A Mahesh alleged that BJP Government at Centre increased the prices as there is no difference between petrol and diesel. The Government gave free hand to the oil companies to increase the prices.
This leads to heavy burden on common man, they pointed out. The leaders warned to take up mass agitations if the prices are not come down. Leaders D Shankar, V Bhupal Reddy, M Kumar, Saidulu, M Mallesh, G Veeraiah, P Suresh, P Srikar Reddy, P Jagan took part.
