Madhura Charitable Trust distributes Kho-Kho kits

 Habsiguda: The president of Ranga Reddy District Kho-Kho Association and Madhura Charitable Trust chairman Ragidi Lakshma Reddy called to encourage players of Kho-Kho like local games.

He distributed kits to players who are going to participate in State Level Kho-Kho Competitions at Khammam from May 10 to 13 at his residence.

The Charitable Trust chairman assured to give full support to the players. The players were an elated lot as this is the first time that they are receiving kits. RR District Kho-Kho Association vice-president Gaddam Ravi Kumar said that this was a welcome and laudable gesture as India is a cricket crazy nation and few people come out and support Kho-Kho. 

He further added, “I have nothing against cricket as it is followed by millions and brings fame to the country, but traditional games too have to be encouraged.” The general secretary Kotla Ramakrishna Reddy said that Kho- Kho too would become as popular as Kabbadi very soon.
