Rythu Bandhu is for welfare of farmers: TSMDC chief
Medak: Telangana State Mining Development Corporation chairman S Subhash Reddy said the TRS government had introduced RythuBandhu scheme to support the ailing farming sector and for the welfare of the farmers in the state.
He further added that the large farmers need to give up crop investment support and give it back to the government voluntarily. The Collector congratulated the TSMDC chairman and mentioned that he also gave up the investment support for his 11.33 acres of land in the Sangareddy district. DRO Ramulu, DAO Parashuramlu and AO Rebelson and others were present at meeting.
During the distribution programme of pattadar passbooks and crop investment cheques to the farmers of Kuchanpally village in Havelighanpurmandal, top officials said that the government took up several welfare schemes for the farmers in the state including round the clock power supply, irrigation projects, such as check dams across Manjeera river of which the construction will be started by the contractors after minister Harish Rao and Deputy Speaker Padma Devendar Reddy lay the foundation stone soon.
Soon after the launch and distribution of cheques, several officials started giving back the amount so that the farmers in distress would be benefitted.
