Uprooted peepal tree damages two houses

Musheerabad: Gale damaged two houses at Nagamaiah Kunta as 50-year-old peepal tree at Hanuman temple fell on them on Thursday. Four electricity poles also got bent to one side disrupting power supply in the colony.

Local residents raised concern over the the incident. They blamed the officials, local MLA and MP for the calamity and for not taking precautionary measures to avert such incidents putting lives at risk. 
They urged the authorities concerned to take action to avert danger from high tension electric poles in the locality.
