MPP flags off bus for scribes’ state-level meet

Tandur:  TRS state secretary and former MPP Karanam Purushottama Rao flagged off a bus carrying a delegation of journalists heading for Hyderabad to take part in the state-level conference of the delegates.

Speaking in this connection, he said that the KCR government has been implementing many welfare schemes for the sake of the journalists. The credit of creating a welfare fund with Rs 50 crore goes to the Chief Minister. Moreover, the government has been striving to sanction double bed-room houses for the scribes. 

He said the KCR is favourably disposed to scribes who took active part in the movement for Telangana.  He said that the TUWJ did commendable work in Vikarabad district. He said that all journalists working in Tandur will be given double bed room houses in the mandal itself.
