Farmers demand corrections in passbooks, cheques

Maheshwaram: Demanding correction of mistakes in pattadar passbooks, leaders of District Agricultural Workers Association on Monday submitted a memorandum to Tahsildar. 

Association president Chetupalli Jangiaiah complained that as the surnames of farmers spell mistakes on the cheques, the banks are not accepting them. He demanded the officer to set right the mistakes at the earliest. Association leaders Prameela, Bakiraj, Parvataalu, Elaiah, Ramulu, Mutyalu were present.
