Dundigal: Ward Member Bandaru Raghubabu on Monday expressed anguish over indiscriminate dumping of garbage and occupation of parking by road-users and paces/drains near SBI, Nizampet, by petty traders. He told The Hans India that parking of vehicles on the road was causing severe inconvenience to the users.

He stated that although many complaints were lodged with Gram Panchayat EO Durga Prasad without any result. As if to add insult to injury, politicians were allowing more shops to be opened on drains. The ward member ridiculed the EO for going round houses holding flexes during Swachh Bharat campaign distributing dustbins.

Raghubabu expressed his ire at the lack of supervision of officials in villages, while stating that if Durga Prasad did not bother who would take care of rural areas. He called for immediate removal of shops on  drains so to prevent a bad name to the area in the Swachh campaign and to check garbage dumping.
