Collector participates in Badibaata programme

Pothireddipally: In order to motivate the parents and their children for schooling to increase the admissions of children aged between 6-14 years in primary and high schools, Sangareddy district Collector V Venkateshwarlu participated in ‘Badibaata’ programme at ZP High School at Pothireddipally village. 

Speaking on the occasion, the bureaucrat reiterated that every kid aged between 6-14 years should be in school. He said the government schools would provide free education, mid-day meals, uniforms, academic books, and scholarships including digital lessons with expert faculty and priority for IIIT admissions by the government at free of cost. The Collector who sanctioned required Vidya Volunteers, toilets, additional classrooms for the school, noted that it was everyone’s responsibility to make sure every kid below 14 years is learning at school.

The programme was attended by CDC Chairman Vijendar Reddy who announced Rs 5,000 cash prize for a student who scored GPA 9.3 in her SSC, Sarpanch Sumangali Sekhar, Officer M Angilala, MEO Narsimlu, and staff of the school and villagers.
