Minister lays foundation stone for Thalelma lift irrigation point

Sangareddy: Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Wednesday toured in Sangareddy district and participated in several developmental activities in the district including laying the foundation stone for the lift irrigation point at Thalelma village in Sangareddy district. 

Later, the Minister inaugurated the Residential Degree College for Girls built at the cost of Rs 5.5 crore at Budhera village in Sangareddy mandal and the R&B guest house constructed with Rs 85 lakh in the Andole constituency. He inspected and reviewed on Mission Bhageeratha Grid works of united Medak district at Busareddipally.

The Minister said by June 25, every village in the district would be supplied Mission Bhageeratha drinking water for which Rs1853 crore for Sangareddy district and Rs 965 crore for Medak district were spent. Speaking to the media, the Minister criticised the previous Congress government for failing to provide safe drinking water to the people.
