Cottage industries exhibition inaugurated

#BIG-IMAGE##A S Rao Nagar: Mega exhibition of cottage industries with 100 stalls organised by the Mana Brahmana Mahasabha at Vasavi Bhavan was inaugurated here on Sunday. Mana Brahmana Samajam State general secretary Avadhanula Nrusimha Prasad and Nizamabad district unit president Janagama Chandrasekhar Sarma Raju were chief guests. They described the exhibition as one ushering in a social change. 

Avadhanula Nrusimha Prasad expressed concern over the Brahman community lagging behind in the fields of education and cottage industries. He stressed on the need of encouraging small units for self-employment, while stating that the Samajam since last year had conducted such exhibitions in all Telangana districts. With the suggestion of all, the exhibition in Hyderabad was being conducted.  

Prasad said there was good response from women and that so far 11 such exhibitions have been organised in Hyderabad. The Samajam leaders stated that it had so far extended study assistance to 600 poor Brahmin students. The organisers said that another mega exhibition would be held on June 27.
