Awareness programme on rain harvesting pits held

Gachibowli: An awareness programme on Rain Harvesting pits was organised at Defense Colony in Gachibowli division on Sunday. Local legislator Arekapudi Gandhi was the chief guest. He took part in digging pits and planted saplings.

The MLA said every house should have a plant and a rain harvesting pit. He lauded Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his implementing several welfare schemes. He assured that drinking water supply to every house in his constitution. Arekapudi Gandhi stated that if we protect environment, it will protect us. He said that he would strive to make the constituency as model constituency. 

TRS leaders Sanjeeva Reddy, Uppalapati Srikanth, Raju Yadav, Kashinath Yadav, Naga Raju, Konda Vijay, Ravinder Reddy, locals G Krishna, Kotya Naik, Hemanth, Rajesh, Narasimha Reddy and others were present.
