Balakrishna celebrates b’day with children at cancer hospital
Hyderabad: Nandamuri Balakrishna celebrated his 58th Birthday with children fighting with cancer at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute here on Sunday.
This was followed by inauguration of a blood bank organized by NBK Helping Hands at the hospital. After inaugurating the camp, he interacted with those participating in blood donation camp. More than 500 members donated blood on this occasion. Later he had participated in a cake cutting event organized by fans along with children fighting with cancer in the hospital.
While appreciating the efforts of cancer hospital in providing quality cancer care to those fighting with cancer, Balakrishna announced that a new facility would come up at Amaravathi in 15 acres allotted by Government of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the two Telugu speaking states despite being divided will prosper and grow. Earlier Balakrishna was greeted by Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, speaker, AP Assembly.
