Corporators distribute festive gifts

Mallapur: Corporator Pannala Devender Reddy hosted iftar to Muslims at Durga Nagar on Sunday. The residents of Durga Nagar have been receiving gifts for Ramzan for the past few years. Riaz, a local said, “This gesture goes a long way as many in the locality are poor and being the holy month the expenses are high.”  

Leaders Nayeem Al Afa, Bhasit Khan and Nizamuddin took part. Later Pannala along with HB Colony corporator Golluri Anjaiah distributed Ramzan gift packets to poor Muslim families at Ashok Nagar. Local leaders R Satish, A Narender Reddy, Aruna, Pushpalatha, Noor Pasha, Aziz were present.
