Shah Rajul tomb repair works begin in Hyderabad old city

Charminar: Repair works have been initiated at the famous Shah Rajul Qattal Dargah of Misri Gunj in Old City. The tomb is the resting place of a noted Islamic scholar and spiritual teacher of Qutub Shahi king Taan-e-Shah. The Archaeological Department started the repair work on the external side of the tomb and scaffold has been installed across the tomb.
Hundreds of people visit the tomb every month and frequency of people increases during the month of Ramzan. The Shah Rajul Qattal is touted as the second largest dome in the Asia. Mutawalli of the Dargah Syed Shah Nadeemullah Quadri looks after the affairs of the Dargah and it has been his ancestral duty.
