Corporator hands over Ramzan gift packets

Gachibowli: local Corporator Komirishetty Saibaba on Thursday called upon Muslims to celebrate the Ramzan festival amid happiness and gaiety.

Speaking after handing over Ramzan gift packets, given by the state government to poor Muslims families of Netajinagar in Khajaguda, he stated that the TRS government was giving importance to the celebration of the Ramzan festival without caste and communal differences. ‘It is a matter of pleasure that the government is celebrating the festival’, he said, adding that the Ramzan celebrations should be viewed as a symbol of communal harmony. 

Saibaba asserted that Chief Minister k Chandrashekar Rao’s aim was to bring happiness into the lives of the poor. Among those present were Netajinagar Residents’ Welfare Association president Uppari Shekhar Sagar, general secretary A Venkatesh Goud, assistant general secretary P Krishna Mudiraj, treasurer A Mallesham Mudiraj, joint secretaries Mahesh, Asiya Begum, advisers Ramesh Babu, Srinivas Sagar, secretaries Syed Jaffar and Manimegala.
