More footfalls treading ‘Heritage Walk’

Charminar: About 25 persons took part in the Heritage Walk on Sunday, which started at Charminar and concluded at Purani Haveli. According to officials of Tourism Department, the tourists were part of the Walk-3 which starts from Charminar in the early morning hours and concludes at Purani Haveli. 

The Tourism Department is creating awareness about this ‘Herigate Walk’ through its official website, advertisement and with the help of social media. Every Sunday, the Department sets up its stall near Charminar and it charges a nominal fee of Rs 50 for all ages. This is a two-hour walk starting from 7.30 am to 9.30 am on Sundays, where a guide engaged by the department takes the tourists for a walk on a specified route, while explaining the importance of  historic structures during the tour at the concluding point.
