Construction debris piles up unabated

Shaikpet: Heaps of construction debris keep piling up along the Qutub Shahi Eid Gah road even as several warnings have been issued by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). 

Residents of the area say that the waste is collected within a span of few weeks and most of the construction waste is dumped during night time. Similarly, many areas surrounding Shaikpet suffer from the same problem, both the lakes in the area-Hakeempet Kunta and Shaikpet Cheruvu-are also surrounded by construction waste.
