Need to create awareness on recycling waste water: HMWSSB

Hyderabad: Managing Director of HMWSSB M Dana Kishore stressed the need to create awareness among people on recycling of waste water at a seminar here on Thursday. He said that 80 per cent of the water supplied by the Board was going waste. The MD explained that the wastage was because of lack of public awareness to recycle the waste water.

He said that the recycling technologies used by other countries practically failed in the City. 
Hence, he called for technologies suitable locally. Technical director Dr Suryanarayana, revenue director Vijay Kumar Reddy, representatives from various private organisations took part.
