Harish seeks feedback from patients on quality of hospital services

Siddipet:  Major Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday inspected the government teaching hospital and sought feedback from patients visiting the hospital on the quality of treatment and functioning of the medical officers. He asked the patients about the amenities in wards and sought to know from them whether any additional amenities are required for them. 

Later reviewing the activities with the college principal Tamil Arasu, directors and professors of the hospital, he sought their cooperation in evolving Arogya and green Siddipet. He asked the paramedical personnel to work with responsibility and wanted the diagnostic reports to be accurate. He asked the diagnostic lab personnel to remain in labs.  He said that he was instrumental in getting released Rs 26 crore from CM Relief Fund to the poor people in Siddipet and Gajwel regions. He asked the medical and paramedical staff to work with commitment and love for their job. 

He said that he would not tolerate any protests over inadequate medical and health services and maintained that he would not tolerate even if the medical officers were to err. He said that the gynaecologists should be available at the hospital round the clock so also the anesthetists.  He wanted the medical officers and ASHA workers to work with coordination. He asked the college principal and the RMO, Dr Azeemoddin, to conduct training programmes for the ASHA workers if necessary.
