Extension officials told to collect nomination forms

 Vikarabad: District Collector Omar Jaleel directed the agriculture extension officials to collect nomination forms from farmers to enable the government to implement the free insurance cover for farmers programme. Addressing them at Collectorate in a review meeting held here on Wednesday, he sought progress in this regard mandalwise and breathed fire on those who neglected collection of the nomination forms. 

He said that he would be holding another review meeting on July 3, by then officials was asked to show progress. He asked the extension officials to fill in the forms by themselves without entrusting the job to VROs and VRAs.

Assistant director Bharati, agriculture officer Lavanya, extension officials from various mandals took part in the review meeting.
