Free health camp held at Doodhkhana PHC
Golnaka: An awareness programme on seasonal ailments and a free health camp were conducted in Doodhkhana primary health centre at Ganganagar under the joint auspices of the Institute of Tropical Diseases (Fever Hospital) and GHMC Malaria wing, besides the PHC. Local Corporator Kaleru Padma Venkatesh, who was the chief guest, inaugurated the health camp.
Addressing the gathering, Padma advised the residents to increase their awareness level on seasonal diseases and to keep their surroundings clean. ‘Only when personal hygiene is maintained people can be free of diseases’, she stressed.
Among those present were hospital supervisor Srinivas, Yadagiri Raju, Dr Angel of PHC , staffers Shyamala, Sabita, Sumalata, Sujata, GHMC (entomology) AE Naresh, supervisor Venkatayya, Ajay, entomology staff. Also present were local leaders RK Babu, Y Buchi Reddy, Narsing Yadav, Jagan Yadav, Satish, Nazia, P Santosh Kumar.
