Several development works taken up in Talabkatta

Talabkatta: Several development works were being taken up in Talabkatta by the civic authorities as the low-lying areas were facing inundation during rains because of lack of proper drainage system.  Pipeline laying works have been started under the supervision of Nasreen Sultana, corporator Talab Chanchalam. She said that Rs 17 lakhs were sanctioned for the works that were being taken up at road number 11 in Talabakatta. 

A pipeline of about 500 meters near Masjid-e-Talat was being laid and it would be completed in 15 days. It could give respite to the locals from regular inundations and flooding of the streets.  On the other hand electricity related works were also taken up in the area during past two weeks. A 700-metre road was also laid near railway track, Talabkatta. It is informed that Rs 1 crore would be sanctioned for more works related to infrastructure development in the area.
