Lion’s club services to humanity lauded

Tandur:  Tandur Municipal Chairperson Sunita Sampat on Sunday lauded the Lion’s Club for serving society in a selfless way. She noted that its services were spread all over the globe. 

Participating as the chief guest in the Lion’s Club of Tandur and Lion Lady Auxiliary Tandur’s 43rd executive installation ceremony here, she made a special mention of the blood donation and eye donation activities of the organisation. She eulogised the club for saving many precious lives through blood donation. 

People are coming forward voluntarily on account of sensitising them on eye donation. Lions club members Jagan Mohan Reddy, Ramesh Chandra Pandith, Hanumayya Belure, S Damodar, Gopal Krishna, Zaheer, Manimala, Vijaya Lakshmi and others took part in the programme.
