Cops educate rural people on social evils by drama ‘Kanuvippu’

Ahmadipur (Gajwel):  On the directives of Siddipet Commissioner of Police Joel Davis, the police department has been educating the rural people with a musical dance drama ‘Kanuvippu’ regarding the social evils, superstitions, differences in families, suicides, domestic violence, addiction to alcohol, gambling, security and protection measurements in the villages by the department’s troupe across the district.

Recently Gajwel police with their troupe conducted drama ‘Kanuvippu’ at Ahmadipur village and educated the locals about the tricksters of gold, traffic rules, driving licenses, parenting and supporting the parents in their old age and the precautions of fake crop seeds by the fraudsters in the markets. The cops also taught the villagers about the security and protection by the installation of CC Cameras in the streets. Police sought the co-operation from the villagers and public representatives for the installation of CC Cameras towards transformation of the crime-free village.
 
The farmers in the village were also told to complain with the concerned officials for their land issues and RBS scheme without approaching mediators and call up the police by dialing 100 for any crime related complaints. They also noted not to believe in the false and fake news and rumours being circulated on social media regarding the child lifters and security disturbance. Head Constable Venkat Goud, Village sarpanch, MPTC and other public representatives and villagers participated in the programme.
