Govt turns deaf ear to students’ woes: TSSO

Maheshwaram: Telangana Samajika Student Organisation (TSSO) state secretary Yerra Yadagiri on Wednesday alleged that the State government had turned deaf ear to the woes of students in government schools.

He along with TSSO mandal president Y Mahendar and mandal assistant secretary Ganesh inspected zilla parishad high school at Maheshwaram. He also enquired students about the basic facilities and availability of teachers in the school.

Later, speaking to the media Yadagari said that the schools at Tummalur and Maheswaram did not have amenities like drinking water and toilets. Though schools reopened one month back, teachers on the name of transfers not attending classes, he alleged. Leaders Prasad, Shiva Kumar, Sai, Srikanth were present.
