Annapurna canteens adopt steel utensils in view of plastic ban

Hyderabad:  In view of plastic ban, the Annapurna canteen being run by the State government near Aramgarh Cross Roads now uses steel plates and glasses. These utensils were donated by Mailardevpally division corporator T Srinivas Reddy as part of International Plastic Bag Free Day celebrations.
They started providing eals to customers in steel plates and glasses from June 3 . 

The menu deeply satisfied basic south Indian cravings with Bagara Rice, Dalcha, lemon pickle & sweet as well in steel plates. Everyone from daily wage workers to government employees admire the quality and taste of the food that is being served in the canteen. A plate meal is usually enough to fill the stomach. I come here many times; the food is hygienic said commuter. This canteen is open from 11am – 1 pm and serves 300 plates per day.
