Somajiguda: The Telangana Nayee Brahmana Joint Action Committee on Tuesday demanded an unconditional apology from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for his insulting remarks against the community.
Committee president Mahesh Chandra at a press conference here stated that when the Nayee Brahman community represented to Naidu in the Secretariat on Sunday seeking minimum wages, he had threatened to ‘cut their tail’.
This, he asserted, was not acceptable. ‘It is not proper for CM to hold out threats to demoralise the community.
This shows how much affection Naidu has for Nayee Brahmins’, Chandra stated. Another JAC leader, Dugyal Ashok, also made a similar demand while condemning the remarks.
