Vaccination for Haj pilgrims from July 16 in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In view of vaccination programme from July 16 for the selected Haj pilgrims, chairman of Telangana State Haj Committee, Mohammed Masiullah Khan called upon the District Haj Societies and voluntary organizations to ensure success of the programme with close coordination of the concerned departments being engaged. 

While distributing the vaccination kits and booklet on Haj guidelines amongst the Haj societies and voluntary organizations on Friday, the Haj Committee chairman asked the representatives to follow clear guidelines for this activity which starts from Monday till Wednesday. Vaccination Programme for the selected Haj pilgrims belonging to Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts will be held on July 16, 17 and 18 at Haj House, Nampally, Hyderabad. 
 
Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Deputy Chief Minister, will inaugurate the Vaccination Camp on Monday July 16 at 11 am. Masiullah will preside over the programme. A K Khan Advisor to State Government on Minorities Welfare, MLAs, MLCs and other dignitaries will attend the programme. Special Officer State Haj Committee Prof S A Shukoor said that pilgrims will be administered Anti-Meningitis vaccines and Polio drops for about 2,000 pilgrims, besides this for pilgrims of 70 years and above will be given Seasonal Influenza Vaccines.

During the meeting, Masiullah asked officials to ensure that all the pilgrims in are covered during the programme. Prof S A Shukoor hoped that district societies would work as per the previous practice. Members of the Haj Committee Khaja Sirajuddin, Arif Ahmed, Abdul Khader, Hafiz Mohammed Layeeq Khan, Dr. Aqeel hashmi, Abu Talha Amjad, Mohammed Imtiaz Khan and Mohammed Arifuddin were also present on this occasion.
