31 foreigners visit Venkatapur to study developmental works

Venkatapur:  As many as 31 foreigners from eight countries visited Venkatapur village on Saturday to study the ideal developmental works in the village. The villagers welcomed the visitors into their ‘Adarsha Gramam’ in a grand manner by with a cultural rally performing ‘Bonam’ accompanied with Bathukamma, Peerilu and Pothurajulu with band reflecting the Telangana culture. 

The foreigners, who studied women empowerment by SHGs, safe drinking water management, CC roads and greenery, said the village had become a model for other villages with the unity and determination of the villagers with good economic state and also hailed concern of Minister T Harish Rao towards the development in the district.
