One held with 7 kg of ganja in Dhoolpet
Dhoolpet: A 27-year-old man was caught red-handed by officials of Excise Department with 7 kgs of ganja, while he was travelling along with another accused in Shivlal Nagar in Dhoolpet on Wednesday. According to officials, during a raid they found that two persons were moving on a two-wheeler without any registration number.
They were intercepted and when frisked, the accused were found to be in possession of 7 kgs of dry ganja. While the excise officials were able to catch hold of Babloo Singh, 27, a resident of Shivlal Nagar, Dhoolpet, another accused Ramana Singh, 20 escaped from the spot. “We seized a contraband of 7 kgs of dry ganja, one Honda Activa two-wheeler, one mobile phone.
The accused person along with case papers was handed over to SHO Dhoolpet for further action,” said Excise officials. These raids were conducted under the supervision of N Anjireddy AES (Asst. Excise Superintendent) Enforcement and by P Narender CI and Nazeer Hussain SI, Azeem HC, Rakesh, Balu, Sai, Saikrishna Constables of Enforcement Hyderabad.
