Tandur: The district in charge of Telangana Jana Samithi Srisaila Reddy said that farmers were facing hardships due to the Rythu Bandhu Scheme and purification of land records.

Speaking to the media, here on Wednesday, he said a 'Rythu Deekha' will be organised in front of Vikararabad RDO Office on July 23, under the leadership of Prof Kodandaram, demanding justice for the farmers. He released a poster about the protest. He appealed the farmers across the district and party activists to participate in a big number. He said a burden of Rs two lakh per head was laid in the state because of the government's failure.

The Rythu Bandhu Scheme was unsuccessful, and many farmers did not receive the investment amount for the Khareef season, he alleged. He also said that farmers are going for loans from private venders and again becoming victims of debts. He demanded the state government that pattadar passbooks and cheques should be distributed before this month. Otherwise, the TJS will launch protest across the state, he warned. TJS leaders Yadappa, Fairoze, Vikram, Narsimlu and others were present.
