Awareness programme for Boppanapalli villagers held in Sanagreddy district
Sanagreddy: An awareness programme on discouraging child marriages, driving vehicles under the influence of alcohol was held with the help of kala jathas at boppanapalli in the district on Thursday. Villagers were also sensitized on dialing 100, she teams and against practicing the superstitions.
Sub-inspector Yedukondalu exhorted the people to contribute their mite to prevent road accidents and advised people against driving vehicles in tipsy condition. He warned villagers of initiating stern action if child marriages were performed in the village.
In case of any emergency, he asked the villagers to dial 100 to contact the police control room. He advised them against taking law into their hands and gives no room for superstitions. TRS mandal president Vijeyander Reddy, farmer’s coordination committee mandal president Subash Rao and others took part.
