Anand’s magic awes spectators at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan
Hyderabad: World renowned magician Jadugar Anand showcased his magical skills by involving a handcuffed person locked in chains and escaping unscathed after a speeding car crashes into the wooden box with him in it. Called the ‘Great Blast Escape’ had spectators in awe at the Hari Hara Kala Bhavan on Saturday.
It began with the man being brought to the center stage in front of a huge gathering of spectators eager to witness the amazing escape. He was initially chained, handcuffed, locked and sealed in a wooden box. Later, the box was placed on a platform. The time was ticking as a huge gathering of kids and elders were watching with bated breath. Even before they realized what was going on, a speeding car crashed into the site, with the box being blown to smithereens. The audience seemed to be petrified at the thought of the imminent death of the man involved in the act.
However, during those crucial seconds prior to the crash, the man had unchained himself and popped out of the box a zillionth of a second before the fatal accident and escaped unscathed, giving a great sigh of relief to the baffled spectators. Speaking about the astonishing act, Jadugar Anand said, it has inherent risks and can be very dangerous, but the perfection brought in planning, coordination and timing is what makes it a walkover. The twin cities have never witnessed a performance of this magnitude before, he adds.
