GHMC officials swing into action to solve drainage leakage

Kukatpally: In response to the news that was published in The Hans India on July 24, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) has started the sewerage work in Kukatpally and GHMC officials instructed the contractors to complete the works which was posing dangerous to residents and commuters.

The residents and commuters were frustrated with persistent problem with the open drainage leakage in Kukatpally. The residents are satisfied with the immediate response from the officials. Following the direction of the officials the contractors has started working on the issue. The work will take two to three days to complete.

The Architect Engineer V Venkateshwaru of Bhagya Nagar said, “The problem of drainage leakage at Kukatpally main bus stop has rectified and if any further complaints regarding the civic issues under the limits of GHMC, the GHMC officials will take up the issues and will be solved as soon as possible.”
