Farmers request loan waiver certificates

Peddamul: Farmers are running from pillar to post of government offices to get farm loan waiver, though public representatives and officials made tall claims on it. The officials declared the passbooks of the farmers as fake, who approached them for loan waiver. The negative response worries them a lot. 

Earlier, Ministers KTR, Mahender Reddy and Etala Rajendar took initiative and waived loan amount of Rs 14,64,00,000. They also made distribution of loan waiver certificates to them. Farmers of Athkur village didn’t receive the certificates and Bank officials putting pressure on them to repay the loan amount. When 300 farmers approached the Agricultural officials on not receiving the certificates and the pressure they are getting from Bank officials, the Agricultural officials declared their passbooks as fake. The farmers said that they are going to complain district minister and Collector on the issue.
