One-day orientation programme for girl protection organised

 King Koti: One-day orientation and training programme on girl child protection under Beti Bachao and Beti Padao was held at Bharatiya vidya Bhavan auditorium, King Koti on Tuesday. 

The programme was addressed by Hyderabad District collector Dr Yogita Rana, District Education officer Venkat Narasamma and Director of Divya Disha child rights foundation Isidore Philips.  

The orientation was held on girl child safety and how it can be ensured by taking simple measures. 

Isidore Phillips explained the safety rules “your body is your right.”  

He explained them about the difference between safe and unsafe touch, private and non private parts and  taught them on how to avoid uncomfortable touches. 

The girl students from different schools and teachers attended the programme.
